What's on Wednesday, Sept. 16?
Crave picks up two CTV shows from the night before: The Amazing Race Canada finale and the Season 2 opener of R.J. Decker. Netflix adds the Polish series The Doll and the Smurfs film.
On CBC, The Passionate Eye starts its new season at 8 p.m. It's also the night Channel Canada lists Citytv's first Dancing with the Stars episode, at 9 p.m. ET.

What's new on CBC Gem this week?
Dragons' Den returns for Season 21 on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. on CBC. CBC's fall rule is that premieres go up on Gem at 9 a.m. ET the same day.
The Passionate Eye opens its 34th season a day earlier, Wednesday at 8 p.m., with the documentary Everyone is Lying to You for Money. Both are free with ads on Gem, and our CBC Gem page follows the rest of CBC's fall releases.
What comes to Netflix Canada on Thursday?
Stranger Things: Tales From '85 Season 2 and Ryan Murphy's Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, both Netflix series, arrive Sept. 17. Going by Netflix's standard time for originals, that's 3 a.m. ET.

The Canadian Country Music Awards air on CTV on Saturday, per CTV's fall schedule, and Bell lists the show on Crave on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Netflix's only Saturday addition is the film Promising Young Woman. Friday is the bigger Netflix day, with Best of the Best, Happy Feet, Happy Feet Two and Live PD: Police Patrol Season 5.
What's leaving streaming services this week?
On Netflix Canada, the three Kung Fu Panda films go on Tuesday and Trolls Band Together on Wednesday. All four Expendables films leave on Sunday.
