New in Canada Next Week (Sept. 21–27, 2026): Survivor 51, The Voice, MasterChef Canada and SNL's Return, Day by Day
The gist: next week is the busiest of the Canadian fall season so far, with a season premiere on six of the seven nights and Survivor's two-hour opener on Global on Wednesday, Sept. 23. CTV carries The Voice and The Traitors Canada on Monday, MasterChef Canada on Tuesday, and Saturday Night Live's 52nd season on Sept. 26. Streaming is back-loaded: the Netflix, Disney+ and Crave drops worth planning around all land Thursday and Friday.

Network rows repeat across the four columns because CTV, Global, Citytv, CBC and CHCH run primetime at the same clock hour on each regional feed — that's what "8 p.m. ET/PT" means on a Canadian listing. On an Eastern feed carried in Atlantic Canada, add an hour (9 p.m. AT) and 90 minutes in Newfoundland (9:30 p.m. NT). *Netflix doesn't publish per-title Canadian times; its originals have been landing at 3 a.m. ET.
What's on Canadian TV on Monday, Sept. 21?
Two premieres on one network. CTV opens The Voice's 30th season at 8 p.m. and follows with The Traitors Canada Season 4 at 10 p.m., and both are on Crave the next day.
The Voice slot is the one worth double-checking, because Channel Canada's fall calendar still files the show under CTV2 while Bell Media's own show page says CTV. We went with Bell, and our Voice page keeps the receipts on both.
Karine Vanasse is back as gamemaster for The Traitors Canada, this time with 22 players and a prize of up to $100,000. Crave's next-day versions are extended cuts, so the streaming episode isn't the same length as the broadcast one. Over at Citytv, the new NBC drama Line of Fire premieres at 10 p.m. against it.
What time is MasterChef Canada on Tuesday?
7 p.m. on CTV, an hour earlier than most premieres this fall. Mary Berg hosts Season 9 with judges Hugh Acheson and Craig Wong, and CA Reality On Air has the full season breakdown.
Doc returns at 9 p.m. the same night, and Best Medicine comes back too — with the time conflict noted at the top of this page. Why is Wednesday the busiest night next week?
Four things collide. Survivor 51 takes two full hours on Global from 8 p.m., The Floor starts its sixth season on CTV at 8, America's Got Talent crowns a winner on Citytv at 9, and CBC gives The Passionate Eye over to a Neil Peart documentary at 8.
Something has to go to the PVR. Survivor's opener overlaps the whole AGT finale and the back half of The Floor, and only the Survivor episode is also on STACKTV the same night. What's new on streaming Thursday and Friday?
Thursday belongs to Netflix, which adds the series A Different World and the Thai drama Delusion plus the film In Bruges. Prime Video has the DeSean Jackson documentary Go Deep, and Paramount+ drops Jackass: Best and Last.
Friday is heavier. Crave launches its own comedy SLO PITCH with two episodes and picks up Hell's Kitchen Episode 1 a day after CHCH airs it, Starz wraps Fightland, and Disney+ opens FX's American Horror Story: 13 with three episodes at once. MobLand keeps going weekly on Paramount+.
When does SNL come back on CTV?
Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:30 p.m., with Crave adding Episode 1 on Sept. 27. That makes it the first Canadian simulcast of Season 52, and our SNL page covers the Crave timing in more detail.
CBC counter-programmes earlier that evening with On Track with Andre De Grasse, a kids' series that goes to CBC Gem the same day. Gem premieres normally post at 9 a.m. ET.
What arrives on Netflix, Prime Video and Paramount+ that week?
Netflix front-loads films: Wicked on Monday, then the Italian series Minerva Academy on Tuesday, Habeas Corpus and Wonka's The Golden Ticket on Wednesday, and Thursday's batch. Nothing on the Canadian list is flagged as leaving before Sept. 30.
Prime Video spreads five titles across the week, headlined by the Amazon Original The Love Hypothesis on Wednesday, and closes with WNBA playoff coverage on Sunday. Paramount+ has weekly episodes of The Challenge and MobLand plus the Lioness Season 3 finale on Sept. 27. How much is actually new next week?
By our count the table holds 22 entries across nine Canadian channels and services, and 11 of them are season or series premieres. Six of the seven nights have at least one premiere; Friday is the only night without a broadcast premiere, and it still has four streaming drops.

Is Survivor simulcast in Canada?
Yes. Global airs Season 51 at the same hour as CBS, and the episode is on STACKTV and the Global TV App. Our channel map lists the rest of the US fall shows.
Does The Traitors Canada stream live?
Not on Crave. Crave subscribers get a live CTV channel, and the extended episode arrives the following day.
What time do Netflix originals go live in Canada?
Netflix doesn't publish a Canadian time per title. Recent originals have appeared at 3 a.m. ET, which is midnight on the West Coast.
