That last row is the part catching people out. For years the Canadian routine was Global on Saturday night and STACKTV the morning after, and a lot of bookmarks still point there. Bell Media bought the rights in April, so from Sept. 26 the show lives on CTV and Crave instead.
What time is SNL on in Canada?
11:30 p.m. Eastern on CTV, the same minute it starts on NBC. Channel Canada's fall grid lists it as Saturday Night Live (season 52, September 26 @ 11:30pm ET), flagged as new to the network.
The western feeds are the open question. SNL has gone out live across all American time zones since 2017, which puts the live broadcast at 8:30 p.m. on the Pacific coast rather than 11:30. Whether CTV's western feeds take that live signal or hold the show until 11:30 p.m. local is not confirmed at time of writing — Bell Media's announcement describes the simulcast without breaking it down by feed. Check your local CTV listing on the 26th before you plan the evening around it.

Is SNL on Crave live, or only the next day?
Both. Bell Media's announcement says the season is “airing in simulcast exclusively on CTV and streaming live on Crave,” and that new episodes “will also be available to stream on demand next day on Crave.” So a Crave subscription without cable gets you the live show at 11:30 p.m. ET and the replay whenever you want it.

Why did SNL move from Global to CTV?
Rights, and the timing of a renewal. Bell Media announced the acquisition on April 13, 2026, describing Crave and CTV as “the new home of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE in Canada.” Before that, Saturday nights belonged to Global, with next-day streaming on STACKTV.
It fits a wider reshuffle. Bell Media's 2026/27 slate moved SNL into CTV's Saturday lineup, and Big Brother USA follows the same way in 2027. When does Season 52 start, and who is hosting?
Saturday, Sept. 26. NBC has announced four episodes so far, and the cast list changed over the summer: Chloe Fineman left after seven seasons, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline moved up to repertory, and two new featured players joined in September.

The gap between Oct. 10 and Oct. 31 is normal — SNL runs in blocks with weeks off, and NBC announces hosts in batches rather than all at once.
