New in Canada Today, Oct. 5: Tracker and FBI Return, Murdoch Mysteries Season 20

Six shows start a new season on Canadian networks on Monday, Oct. 5. That's our count from the fall releases of Bell Media, Corus and CBC, and it makes this the busiest premiere night since the season opened in mid-September.

The streaming side is quieter. Netflix has three additions, Crave has one film, and most of what CTV airs on Monday won't reach Crave until Tuesday.

What's new on TV in Canada tonight?

CTV's rows come from its Toronto and Vancouver station schedules and match Bell Media's fall release. Global's three are in Corus's premiere-dates release, and the CBC pair is in CBC's, which gives clock times without a zone label. If you're sorting out which Canadian network carries a U.S. series, our fall 2026 channel finder lists them by title.

What time is Tracker on in Winnipeg and Calgary?

Not at the Toronto hour. CTV's own station schedules for Oct. 5 shuffle the order of Monday's three shows outside the Eastern and Pacific zones.

Winnipeg gets Tracker last, at 10 p.m. CT, and Calgary runs The Traitors Canada before The Voice. CTV Atlantic's schedule didn't load when we checked, so check local listings in the Maritimes. The same goes for Global outside ET and PT, since Corus only publishes those two zones. Our Voice page has that show's station-by-station hours.

The Traitors Canada is three episodes into its fourth season. Sister site CA Reality On Air keeps the Season 4 cast list with who's been banished and murdered so far.

What did Netflix Canada add on Oct. 5?

Three titles, and two of them are deep back catalogues. Gunsmoke arrives with Seasons 1 to 14 and Mayor of Kingstown with Seasons 1 to 4. Super BOOMi Season 1 is the third.

MobileSyrup and iPhone in Canada print the same three for the date. Tuesday, Oct. 6 is shorter still, with Love Village Season 3 and the stand-up special Mojo Brookzz: I Know You Lying. The rest of the month is in our Netflix Canada October list.

What's new on Crave and Prime Video?

Crave's only dated addition for Oct. 5 is the film Merrily We Roll Along, which is in both Bell Media's October overview and MobileSyrup's list. The Tracker premiere follows on Tuesday, Oct. 6, a day after CTV, and Bell lists Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler Season 3A for the same day. Later dates are in the Crave October list.

Prime Video has The Bay and Tuner, and Disney+ has the premiere of Between Steps plus Gachiakuta Season 1, Part 1. Those two rows rest on MobileSyrup's October lists alone, so treat them as listed, not double-checked.

What's coming on Tuesday, Oct. 6?

Global gives the whole night to one franchise: NCIS at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the new NCIS: New York at 9 p.m. and NCIS: Origins at 10 p.m., per Corus. Our NCIS page explains where each one streams afterwards.

CTV's Toronto and Vancouver schedules have MasterChef Canada at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The day-by-day table through Sunday, Oct. 11 is in new in Canada, Oct. 5 to 11, and Sunday's arrivals are in the Oct. 4 rundown.
