New in Canada Today (Monday, Sept. 21): The Voice, The Traitors Canada, Line of Fire and Wicked

Monday is the night the Canadian fall schedule finally fills up. Four premieres land between 8 and 10 p.m. ET, two of them on CTV, and the streaming side is unusually quiet by comparison — one Netflix film, one HBO Max animated series on Crave, and a five-season cartoon dump on Prime Video.

What time is The Voice on in Canada tonight?

8 p.m. ET and PT on CTV, simulcast with NBC, and on Crave the following day. Season 30 opens the blind auditions, and premiere week has a second helping on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CTV2 — a detail that only turned up in Bell Media's own fall release, not in the network grids. Is The Traitors Canada on tonight?

Yes. Season 4 starts at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, straight after The Voice, and Crave carries extended cuts the next day rather than the broadcast version. What's new on Netflix Canada today?

One title: Wicked, the 2024 musical, added at 3 a.m. ET. Both MobileSyrup's and Exclaim's Canadian month lists agree it's the single Monday entry, which makes this one of the thinner Netflix days of the month. What landed on Crave, Disney+ and Prime Video?

Crave's week-ahead release from Bell Media has one dated Monday entry: the series premiere of Young Love, the HBO Max animation built out of the Oscar-winning short Hair Love. That release is a highlights list rather than a full manifest, and Channel Canada's roundup for the same week doesn't mention Young Love at all, so anything else Crave adds today is unlisted; not confirmed at time of writing. Disney+ Canada leans young — a ten-episode CoComelon spinoff, new Dragon Striker: Gorotama Stars, and a fresh Futurama. Prime Video Canada quietly posts all five seasons of The Great North, which is the kind of catalogue drop that doesn't make headlines and then sits in the top ten for a week. Last Wednesday's Neagley launch was the month's bigger Prime moment.

Is there anything new on CBC Gem or Paramount+ today?

Not today on Gem. CBC's own September list for the service skips from Shepherds on the 18th to Neil Peart: No One's Disciple on the 23rd, so the 9 a.m. ET drop window passes empty. CHCH opens Name That Tune's sixth season at 8 p.m., and Flavour Network has the seventh season of The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals at 9 — both from Channel Canada's viewer grid, which is the only listing we could match them to. FOX's Celebrity Weakest Link also returns at 9 p.m. tonight, but no Canadian broadcaster appears against it in that grid, so we can't say where it airs here; not confirmed at time of writing. No. CTV airs it at 10 p.m. ET/PT and Crave posts an extended cut the day after, per Bell Media's own description of the season.

What time does Netflix Canada add new titles?
3 a.m. ET, which is midnight Pacific. That's the same clock Netflix uses across North America, so Canadian and American release hours match even when the title lists don't.

Is Line of Fire on a Canadian channel or only streaming?
Citytv carries it at 10 p.m. ET the same night as NBC, and it stays on Citytv+ afterwards.
